I was at this, and it was quite an adventure. What was meant as a live outdoor DJ gig from Vince and Reed (Hays, of Reed & Caroline), was altered due to bad weather reports (having the guys stay back in the windowed studio) and they were right to do so. We had a thundercell pass right over during V&R's set, lifting tents and sending them down the block (potential injuries averted, afaik). It wouldn't surprise me if there were a tornado reported nearby; it was that intense. While I know some got video of the worst, Reed and Vince only got a little of the lesser effects and posted them on Twitter. Still, it was a fun gig from what of the set I heard, and pantomiming to them through the window.
Oh, and it seems Vince (or those close) were able to donate multiples of the Erasure 30 vinyl reissues at $10 a pop to the 80s laden vinyl sale bins...not to mention the rare RSD Yazoo Situation 12". I hear tell someone walked away with that and the red vinyl World Beyond both signed by Vince. Quite a coup, I would think.
