I'm hoping someone can help.

You may recall that in 2013 there was a certain version of a track from this release made available, via the Quietus - It was the Barringer and Skerik's version of Yes, Virginia, There Is A Santa Claus.

Well, I, like many - who were made aware - downloaded this extended version. However, lately it seems to have disappeared from my digital collection. I'm am not sure if it was during my changing of laptops/hard-drives or the possible fact that iTunes Match decided to delete it from my computer.

Either way, I wondered if someone can shine some light?

Just to clarify, it's different to the Remix version and in fact has quite a long/extended intro.

As far as I am aware I don't think there is any other remix - just the Barringer and Skerik's version.

It's available as a bonus track on the digital download version of Snow Globe Deluxe Nutcracker Edition, and the track is available to purchase individually (it's just called 'remix' on iTunes, but it's the same version). It's also available in FLAC and WAV from stores like Qobuz if you prefer something better quality.

the version I see on iTunes is the only version we did. We never gave any extended versions. All are the 4:16 version.

That's so bizarre - I have the version you both detail [the Remix] but I swear the beginning of the version (which I had downloaded from Quietus) and before the vocals start went on for quite a bit longer. Seriously, I listened to it loads back then. That's so weird. Obviously I can't doubt your words - haha - but it is really odd.

That's really going to bug me. Even back then I'm pretty sure I had 3 versions of 'Virginia...' on my iTunes and the one with the longer and almost 'building' electronic intro went on for almost 4 times as long.

Perhaps it was a fan mix but ever so similar?

REVISED: I thought it was perhaps a slightly earlier remix edit before being finalised - and then seeing it removed from Quietus / SoundCloud made me convinced that this was the case...
