ERASURE: VINCE & ANDY WILL BE PLAYING FOUR INTIMATE 'AN EVENING WITH ERASURE' 40TH ANNIVERSARY EIS SHOWS IN THE UK IN SEPTEMBER - TICKETS GO ON SALE ON TUESDAY
I know that it's been a while since we had any new Erasure news, but hopefully this will more than make up for that, and will also put a smile on many of your faces. In September Andy and Vince will reunite for four very special intimate Erasure Information Service evenings in Edinburgh (17th), London (19th), Manchester (20th) and Bristol (21st). The evenings are designed to be informal and fun, and each show will consist of a combination of music, conversation and nonsense rather than being traditional concerts. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday (27th May) at midday (UK). The shows are a secret and won't initially be announced publicly anywhere (including the official social media channels), so the first chance to grab tickets on Tuesday goes to those of you who are signed up to this newsletter, as a thank you to you all for all your support and loyalty.

I know that you will immediately have a load of questions about these shows, and to that end I have put together an FAQ page on the Erasure website which answers all the questions I can think of right now. Please do check out the FAQ carefully before getting in touch with questions, but I intend to add more information to that page between now and Tuesday if anything comes up or occurs to me that might be useful. That said, I will say here that, unfortunately, there are no plans to add any more shows to the list, not elsewhere in the UK or internationally. We only have a very limited window with everyone available at the same time (and that includes Val and Emma, who will be joining us for the musical performance part of the show!) and this is it. I know that sales of tickets to shows like these is always very stressful but the FAQ is designed to minimise that stress as much as possible by giving you all the information you need in advance, but to be realistic these are small venues and there's every chance that tickets will only be available for a short time. I wish you all the luck in the world when the shows go on sale on Tuesday.

That said, I will say here that, unfortunately, there are no plans to add any more shows to the list, not elsewhere in the UK or internationally. We only have a very limited window with everyone available at the same time (and that includes Val and Emma, who will be joining us for the musical performance part of the show!) and this is it.

See that's why I was always encouraging Andy to move up to NYC. There might have been a date added if they were they both residing here. Vince and Andy in close proximity always brings about joy, happiness...probably world peace while we're at it. Certainly my world.

Ah well, you Brits enjoy yourselves!

It's easier for Andy to fly up from Florida to NYC than for Vince to get over to the UK! Or Vince to fly into wherever, domestically. I don't think Andy needs to live in NYC for a US option!

Is it better that they are both in the USA? Sure. Is it even better when they are within driving distance of each other? Absolutely.

I was going to go for Manchester, but decided on Bristol. 4th row from the stage.

I managed to grab a ticket for Manchester row F in the middle, tickets were vanishing as I was selecting them, very anxiety inducing but should be well worth it roll on September.
