Ya know, I have been wondering if we should have a "deals" subforum specifically for threads like this. Could save folks on new music purchases; especially when things like coupon codes are posted that might be applicable to new music or concert ticket purchases.

It might seem redundant, IMHO. Isn't' there already a 'Collectors' section for ebay and the like? And you also have sections for specific artists, like this one.

Just my humble opinion.

A valid opinion, even be it humble!

This is why I mentioned subforum. It would certainly be within another forum, and I was thinking under the 'Buy/Sell/Trade' one myself. It could actually just be a thread there, but I had thought one thread might get unwieldy with various sites. For instance, one thread for a certain years RSD deals (other year threads to follow), one for Black Friday codes/deals (provided they are applicable to music), one for Amazon, etc. etc.

As for artists, it could get a little crazy posting an Amazon coupon code to every artists' forum just so fans of that artist can see there's a deal on their stuff there. Like the 'Buy/Sell/Trade' forum, I just think talk of bargain deals would best be in a central place...should we have it.

Just my equally humble opinion.
