Hi friends, I've been trying to think of every officially released track where Vince does vocals. I can only come up with 3.
Happy People - Yazoo/You and Me Both - 1983
Rapture - Erasure/Cowboy - 1997
Doin' This Thing - Family Fantastic/Nice - 2000
Other than possibly some pre-DM tracks (Composition of Sound demo tape, never officially released), I'm drawing a blank. Are there any others??

Re: Vince on vocals
Who is reading the Lord's Prayer on In My Room?(Upstairs at Eric's/Yazoo). Is that Vince?
Re: Vince on vocals
Definitely is. Also one of the voices on I Before E Except After C (“Dragons, the policeman knew, were supposed to breathe fire and occasionally get themselves slaughtered” + “It was definitely not, he decided” + “Inside you can feel the difference, outside, you can see the difference”). I’m pretty sure it’s also his voice saying “Move out” on Situation.EastLondonErasure wrote: Fri Dec 09, 2022 10:33 pm Who is reading the Lord's Prayer on In My Room?(Upstairs at Eric's/Yazoo). Vince’s voice is also audible on Sweet, Sweet Baby (“And you know I really like it”).

Re: Vince on vocals
Ah of course, I forgot In Your Room and I Before E. In my mind it feels like in those cases it’s more that Vince used his vocals as a sample to be toyed and tinkered with in the track - as opposed to a true vocal delivery for the track, like Happy People. Does that make sense?? In any case, there are definitely not many examples overall!
