ERASURE: 'NE:EP REMIXED' - A BRAND NEW FIVE-TRACK DIGITAL REMIX EP - WILL BE RELEASED AT MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!
You read that right, and this is the reason why you're receiving this week's newsletter today instead of tomorrow! At midnight tonight (local time to wherever you are in the world) we will be releasing a five-track digital EP - cunningly titled 'Ne:EP Remixed' - featuring remixes of the tracks featured on Erasure's current 'Ne:EP' release (which I am obligated to remind you is currently available on CD from all good music retailers, on limited-edition purple cassette with high-definition download from Lexer Music and Mute Bank, and to stream or download). If everything goes according to plan 'Ne:EP Remixed' should magically appear on for your listening pleasure via all top-banana digital retailers and streaming services from midnight tonight. There are remixes from our 7th Heaven (Little Mix, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Kylie Minogue) and Gareth Shortland (Steps) which is exciting enough, but I am also delighted to announce that 'Ne:EP Remixed' also features the first official Erasure remixes from TSF and Mark Robotham, both of whom have created multiple unofficial Erasure remixes featured in the newsletter's 'Something For The Weekend' section over the years.

Here's the 'Ne:EP Remixed' tracklisting and, as I mentioned, a reminder that these tracks will all be available to stream and download from midnight tonight...

And before you start bombarding me with messages asking if there will be any physical formats, all I can say right now is that you will just have to wait and see what we still have up our sleeves for you. And the same goes for those of you asking if the 'Time (Hearts Full of Love)' single mix might be made available at any point in the future...

Special limited edition vinyl releases of Ne:EP Remixed and Blues Away "fourth single" EP? "Sleeve" is a hint?

[mrblue]

I would guess that vinyl wouldn’t be possible right now, but CD certainly should be. I do hope it will include more than 5 tracks though, such as the Single Mix of Time (HFoL) that was mentioned. I would LOVE a Blues Away mix too, but it just doesn’t belong with Neon stuff. Very curious and excited to see what comes out!!

Well, there are still reasons vinyl doesn't happen as fast as it used to.

Yet, while even a CD would be desirable, I still wish Time had its own release with multiple mixes; CD OR vinyl. Hell, even digital.
