A night to remember Tracy
We know the material, and what inspired it. Tracy's loss is still felt by many; myself included.
With respect to her memory, I've still not come down from the joy of the experience of being at the show. Being front and center was great to experience the performance, but to have a lovely chat with Vince before the show was enough to have made the trip. He acknowledged this performance really was not expected to happen this late, so we were all very lucky indeed he and Reed found a way to pull it off.
On a lighter note, giving Richard directions on which way to go for Vince's Modelo before the show...well, from now on I'm just going to say the show wouldn't have happened without me.
Seriously, facetime with Vince was priceless before the show, and Reed was a pleasure to chat with again afterward. Seeing Andy there, and hearing that he intends to do a show closer to New York City (Seemingly not the NYC solo Aude one) was tantalizing. The photo posted of them the following day only inspires more hope of seeing them more often; be it together or not.
Gotta add that Frederick Foxtrot was great. A local boy made good using a great mix of modular analog and digital softsynths that evoked thoughts of many of Vince's instrumentals. He's definitely one to follow going forward if you love a good beep.

Finally, it was great to see Brooklyn Sue, Angela, Mikey, Colleen, Peter Moore and others there that night. I wish Uncle Mike and Skippy could have come too. They were indeed missed. Thanks to Tyler, Noah, and Leo from Mute USA as well, making sure I got all the swag I absolutely couldn't live without.
Bring on the next gig!
EDIT: Some photos added.
