Excited for the duet with Andy!
She’s really doing some iconic tracks! Love Steve Anderson’s work!

Steps is/was pure unadulterated camp and I love it. intrigued for this one.

I recall an interview where V&A were asked about the ABBA esque ep and Andy quipped they'd not do the same for Steps, this seems like a good compromise.

I remember being told Erasure was working on an ABBA mini-album long before ABBA-esque and told there would would be six tracks: one of those was Summer Night City. I guess the other was going to be Gimme Gimme Gimme.

Both track ideas were dropped and it was released as an EP.

HOT NEW 7TH HEAVEN REMIX NEWS

We are excited to finally be able to mention that 7th Heaven has remixed three tracks from Claire Richards’ forthcoming new album, ‘Euphoria’. The excellent lead single, ‘I Surrender’, ‘Song For The Lonely’ and another (absolute banger) that you will hear about soon. Edits of our ‘I Surrender’ and ‘Song For The Lonely’ mixes appear on the Deluxe CD Edition of the album. We expect the extended 7th Heaven Mix of ‘I Surrender’ will be released over coming weeks.

We have been sworn to secrecy about these remixes for weeks. Even when probed by enquiring Steps fans, asking ‘Have you remixed Claire’s new tracks?’, we replied, ‘nothing yet’! We’re certain you’re going to love them - they are as euphoric as you’d imagine them to be.

We are massive fans of Claire and rate highly the standard of production for the album tracks we’ve heard, so we were thrilled to be asked to remix what we feel are the stand-out tracks on this stellar pop album. From song selection to Claire’s powerhouse vocal and Steve Anderson’s top-notch production it is pretty special.

The album features classic songs by legendary female singers, of which Claire writes that ‘This album is a thank you to all the incredible women that inspired me to sing!’

Demon Music Group are releasing Claire’s new music.

Please support Claire, her management and label by purchasing ‘Euphoria’. It is released on 25th August and is available to pre-order now. Single ‘I Surrender’ is also available to download now from iTunes, etc. Every purchase made and stream played is appreciated.

7th Heaven FaceBook page-

We're never sure how these details leak, 'cause we've told no-one, but a Steps fan site yesterday revealed that 7th Heaven has remixed Claire Richards ft. Andy Bell's cover of ABBA's 1978 hit 'Summer Night City'. So, we guess we might as well confirm, yes we have and that it is fabulous! It is a superb production by the always fabulous Steve Anderson and Claire and Andy sound great together. 7th Heaven's mix is, as you might imagine, a total pop banger and Jon loved remixing it.

We're hoping it will be the second single from 'Euphoria'.

There's one more 7th Heaven remix for Claire, in production now, and we're not revealing which song it is. Let's see if that one can remain a secret until release/promo! You will all love it - it's a huge pop/trance anthem to be!
