Oh L’Amour The Erasure Musical
Re: Oh L’Amour The Erasure Musical
UPDATE
A Full Week Of Recordings (Thanks to you!)
With temperatures past 100 degrees each day, a small recording studio with an overtasked air conditioner and masks for safety, our intrepid team managed to record all but two (PIANO SONG and SPIRALLING) this past week. An incredible feat! Ethan, Shaunte, Patrick, Sam and Lyle infused their characters into the material, sang their hearts out and made pop songs into showtunes. Once all the tracks are mixed, I think we'll have exactly the what we need to accompany the book when pitching OH L'AMOUR to producers.
I posted images and videos from the week on Facebook and Instagram so be sure to check those out if you haven't already.
Perks will be ordered up this week - I'll keep you all posted!!

UPDATE: Perks and Songs!
Hello everyone!
Here's a quick update on perks:
JUST A LITTLE LOVE and INVITATION TO THE WORLD perks have shipped. A handful of mailers have been returned by the post office - those will be sent out again this week.
STORM IN A TEACUP (mug) are packed and ready to ship this week.
T-shirts and totes are here and ready for packing. Those will likely ship next week.
The poster arrived yesterday! Those will likely ship next week as well.
We are working on the music sheets.
The books are still awating printing; on hold mostly until we figure out the best signing process.
And on the project:
Most songs have been recorded, edited and had their first mix completed.
2-3 songs still have additional voices to record and will require additional editing
Once all have had their initial mixes completed, I'll review the tracks as if listening to a cast album, give my final notes for remixing.
Mitch Kaplan, Alexander Burke and Josh Harris have gone above and beyond the call of duty with all the talent and hard work they've poured into the project.
Once we have the final songs, they will be used, along with the book, to pitch OH L'AMOUR to Broadway and West End producers. There is no plan to record the show with this music at this time.
Once the tracks are completed, I'll also start working on ways for you to hear them!!! Not sure how as of yet given lots of factors both legal and practical, but I promise to do what I can towards that end.
Thanks again for all your love and support and giving all the artists the opportunity to work their craft during COVID.
Stay safe and be well!
Paul
