ERASURE: PRE-ORDER THE EXPANDED 2-CD EDITION OF 'ERASURE' + ERASURE INFORMATION SERVICE 'ERASURE' T-SHIRTS + WIN 'ERASURE' ART PRINTS SIGNED BY ANDY AND VINCE
Nice right? The expanded 2-CD edition of 'Erasure' will be available to pre-order everywhere after the album is officially announced next Wednesday but, in case you can't possibly wait that long before getting your order in, the album is already available to pre-order right now from the Official Erasure Shop at Lexer Music and also from Mute Bank. As if that's not enough, if you pre-order from either of those stores you will automatically be entered into a draw which gives you the chance of winning one of twenty 'Erasure' art-prints, each signed by Vince Clarke and Andy Bell. And if that's still not enough, it has become an Erasure Information Service tradition that when we do a new album reissue we also do an exclusive EIS t-shirt featuring the Erasure logo from that release, so I am very pleased to also add that the Official Erasure Shop at Lexer Music is also offering an EIS 'Erasure' t-shirt in two t-shirt colours (burgundy and blue) which are available to order on their own or in money-saving bundles alongside the album. That's a lot of information to take in all at once but never fear, I will back in your inbox on Wednesday next week with a few more details in line with the official announcement...

If we don't get Angel as a remix single or EP to precede it, I just give up. On everything, really. Free beer and pizza down the block? I'll still be in bed.

I’ll come get you out of bed. We need to have our coffee get-togethers!

I wish they would move to remix albums, rather than remastering. With remix I mean keeping the songs as they are, but enhance the sound to sound less flat, perhaps add Dolby Atmos while they are at it. That would give Loveboat perhaps the credit it deserves

[mrblue]

Angel would make for a great single. They could include the missing Blues Away remix I keep hearing whispers about, as it's from that basic era. I will be delighted with any Erasure special edition. I really hope they include Tiny Tour on DVD already!!

However, I also have grave concerns! Like Chorus, this should be a 3 disc release! If we only have 1 disc for bonuses, it will be eaten up with just a few remixes of F&T and RMG! Don't get me wrong, I love the long RMG remixes - but plan ahead for those and make it 3 discs! I expect, sadly, that we will only get one disc and it may look something like this in a best-case scenario. (I would love to be proven wrong with lots of new or previously unheard versions!)

1. Cold Summer's Day - from Wigstock soundtrack
2. Stay With Me (Radio Version) - from US promo CD
3. Rock Me Gently (Single Mix)
4. Sono Luminus (Demo) - from Buried Treasure
5. True Love Wars
6. HI NRG
7. Chertsey Endlos
8. Fingers & Thumbs (Tin Tin Out Instrumental) - vinyl only so far
9. Sono Luminus (Live) - from RMG CD
10. Rock Me Gently (Bamboo)
11. Stay With Me (Guitar Mix Edit) - from US promo CD
12. True Love Wars (Omni Plus) - vinyl only so far
13. Rock Me Gently (Demo) - from Buried Treasure
14. Fingers & Thumbs (Electrofinger Dub) - official 320mp3 but no lossless yet
15. Stay With Me (Castaway Dub)

[MikeyC]

However, I also have grave concerns!

I should hope so! Otherwise you wouldn’t be the mrblue we all know and love!!

[mrblue]

Hehe thanks Mikey! I just hope we get something for Erasure. I want to stay positive but we all know how that goes when hoping that Mute and BMG will knock our socks off. Some previously unheard mixes of non-single tracks (and Tiny Tour DVD) would really go a long way. My fingers & thumbs are crossed….

[Pughie]

I’ll just leave this here-

Tiny Tour on Blu-ray please.
