‘F**kpig Zeitgeist!’ contains a lengthy foreword by Andy Bell and many photographs of him in
character as ‘Torsten’. These verse diaries are a richly stylised, sensu-sexual poetic disclosure
recording the pertinent life-events and hotspots of memory from Torsten’s unnaturally elongated
life as a weary foot soldier on the cruising ground battlefields of love; ever desensitised by the
circularity of relentless carnality, yet, still ‘wanting to be wanted’!

“…celebrates the broken souls who cling to a desperate hope despite the overarching chaos and
indifference of an often cruel, judgemental world.” (Andy Bell, 2020)

“…impacts like verbal weaponry. Viscerally raw” (Jeremy Reed, Poet, 2020)

The enclosed CD “Queereteria TV : The Live Stage Show Highlights” includes the following songs,
all featuring Andy Bell, some as duets with co-star musical theatre legend Peter Straker: Bell Jar
Song / A Hundred Years Plus Today / Not Opting Out / Lowland Lowriders / Photos Of Daniel / I Am
The Boy Who Smiled At You / Blow Jobs For Cocaine / To Know Good Friends From Perverts /
Bizarre Bits ‘The Lady Domina Bizarre TV Theme Tune’

What are you currently working on?
I work on a number of parallel projects. Firstly, I have written a second volume of accessible verse to accompany the Andy Bell is Torsten hybrid pop/poetry/theatre collaborative project that I manage. This is called ‘F**kpig Zeitgeist!’ and is a book containing further reflections in poetry of the life, and verse-form diaries of, the semi-immortal polysexual protagonist ‘Torsten’ played by Erasure’s Andy Bell in order to bridge the gap before we start work on our 4th album and theatre show.

ANDY BELL: ANOTHER CHANCE TO GRAB A COPY OF THE 'ANDY BELL IS TORSTEN' BOOK & CD PACKAGE 'F**KPIG ZEITGEIST! - THE TORSTEN VERSE DIARIES'
If I had a penny for every email I received from a disappointed fan after the recently released limited-edition 'Andy Bell is Torsten' book and CD package 'F**kpig Zeitgeist!' sold out in the blinking of an eye I would be able to buy myself a big frothy pint of lager (half a pint if I was in London and paying big city prices), but I didn't so I didn't get my pint, and lots of you didn't get the chance to add 'F**kpig Zeitgeist!' to your collections. Until now that is... because Team Torsten have done some hard thinking about the best way to address the situation and here's what they have to say: "Because of the unanticipated demand for the second Andy Bell is Torsten book ‘F**kpig Zeitgeist’, Team Torsten are to make available from 3pm on Friday 14th May the remaining additional copies that had been earmarked as future live show merchandise. Available exclusively through Cherry Red mail order they will again contain the Andy Bell live mini-album CD ‘Queereteria TV’." So if you're one of the people who is desperate to get your hands on 'F**kpig Zeitgeist!' then those extra copies go onsale at 3pm (UK) tomorrow (Friday) at the Cherry Red online shop. Good luck!
