Unusual unique Erasure Items

It was more of a distributor idea to get sales going similarly to "All That Glitters". Kind of grey market items like how Baktabak de-cased available singles and bundled them (crushing the j-card inserts!) in 2CD cases with their old Erasure Interview and called it "Chatter-esque".

I wouldn't rate these high for any n00b Erasure completists to acquire, but that's my two cents.

A padlocked Always single? That's a new one. What's the reasoning behind the padlock??

I’ve seen these mentioned a few times in the past but I’ve never come across one.

Maybe it was a gimmick to make sure it was opened on day of release,by a coded number??

Bingo.

I've never snagged one myself, and it's not likely to be found easily fitting in some bargain bin of CDs the way it is, so I may never.
