I love threads like these! I'm not ready to put down a list though, because I'd like to refresh my memory on some of newer videos that I haven't seen as many times. When Onge did a poll, I gave my favorite as Heavenly Action. It hits all three of your "worst" points:

1. It's laughably cheap and tacky, like WNLLT
2. It doesn't have much to do with the song
3. It hasn't aged well

But I LOVE it for exactly all those reasons! So, this could get interesting.

And I feel pretty safe saying Erasure's worst video, ever, is I Love Saturday.

Best:
01 Heavenly Action - I'm just a sucker for this silly video. Vince and Andy look so happy!
02 Always - though it's missing Vince, it's a great video
03 Make It Wonderful - a wonderful video, along with Gaudete
04 Breathe - eye-catching and nice production
05 Chorus - Erasure at their peak!
06 A Little Respect - a classic
07 Lay All Your Love On Me - excellent production and actually got play on MTV in the US
08 Blue Savannah - just an iconic video
09 I Could Fall In Love With You - you cannot watch this video and NOT smile. It's impossible.
10 Am I Right? - artsy in just the right ways

Worst:
01 I Love Saturday - ruined a perfect song
02 Freedom - awful production values on this one
03 Chains of Love - always hated this video
04 Victim of Love - this video is just a mess and I never realized it until now
05 Star - Erasure on LSD
06 Voulez Vous - Erasure on alcohol I guess. Too much spinning!
07 You Surround Me - not their worst, but kind of laughable
08 Don't Say You Love Me - what the heck is going on here??
09 Take A Chance On Me - it makes me laugh but it's just so bad!
10 Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me) - weird and not really in a good way

mrblue, for “I Could Fall In Love With You” I think the assumption is that you’re referring to the ‘couples kissing’ video rather than the original supermarket mess? Just had to throw that out there!

[mrblue]

Indeed, I'm thinking of the couples kissing video which is what I have saved. Is there another, more "official" version that I missed??

This is the official version set in a supermarket, which you can just spot EIS Greg in the first few seconds (9 secs on right) looking down to a shelf.

[MikeyC]

The supermarket video belongs in the category of “what were they thinking??”

That may well be a big list.
