Nursery Crymes/Fractured Fairytales
Nursery Crymes/Fractured Fairytales
Or Nursery Crimes however you want to spell it.
This project has been on the radar for quite a few years already with tracks being already heard at the opening of
some of the gig dates on the Erasure Tour way back in 2005.
Andy has said recently that Vince was waiting on him to do the vocals as some had already been recorded by an
unknown female vocalist.

Those snippets heard as the intro/opening of the 2005 Tour were haunting and beautiful! Hope this project does come to fruition one day, even as a download-only EP!

I don't know why they got sidetracked from this project, it seemed like it was moving along and then got on the back burner.
Re: Nursery Crymes/Fractured Fairytales
And it seems as if they have the bones and structure of several of the tracks already. This could be a nice project/release in between full length album releases!
Re: Nursery Crymes/Fractured Fairytales
I also think this release is worth finishing off,but it might go into the Union Street/World Beyond category as a welcome addition but a not very often played diversion. Original studio albums are ALWAYS best.MikeyC wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 1:08 am And it seems as if they have the bones and structure of several of the tracks already. True! But diversions will do as well, especially when it comes to E!!Pughie wrote: Tue Jan 08, 2019 9:07 amI also think this release is worth finishing off,but it might go into the Union Street/World Beyond category as a welcome addition but a not very often played diversion. Re: Nursery Crymes/Fractured Fairytales
The funniest bit of the Q&A was when they were asked about any potential new activity around the Nursery Crymes album and Vince said "the only activity around it is when I get asked about it!" hehe!!

Re: Nursery Crymes/Fractured Fairytales
lol Mikey - that gave me a chuckle too.
I promise I won't ever bring this project up again if no one else does! It was a poor idea to begin with, so let's let this idea die already
