This was planned for Monday but we’ve decided to announce this today instead: the release of Metanoia: Music From Therapy by Circuit3, the alias of Dublin-based electronic musician Peter Fitzpatrick.

This album started when Peter and I had a drink at a pub in Farringdon, London immediately after Vince Clarke’s November 2023 solo show in London. It was a deep and wide-reaching conversation where we both shared our respective experiences of therapy. Appropriately, the pub was called ‘The Hope’.
I’d had an idea for a project inspired by my own experience of therapy for a long time, but had never picked a collaborator. It became obvious that night that Peter was the right person to respond to the concept I’d come up with. It happened to coincide with Peter seeking to explore instrumental, soundscape-style pieces as a counterweight to his previous excursions into electronic pop.
In a full-circle moment, given where this started, we approached frequent Mortality Tables collaborator Vince Clarke to join Peter on the 11-minute final track. It is named after the pub we hatched this idea in - ‘The Hope’.
Metanoia: Music From Therapy is released August 14 2026 as an unlimited digital edition through mortalitytables.bandcamp.com and in highly limited CD / LP editions through circuit3.bandcamp.com
