1. Well here we are again Stephano, this time though you are now a bona fide Erasure video creator. This time though it's Andy Bell on his solo outing with the all new album
'Ten Crowns', to which the first official single release is called 'Don't Cha Know' and it's accompanied by a brand new epic cinematic film production by your good self.
How did this video come to fruition?
SB-Nice to be back.
The wonderful Richard Evans messaged me to see if I’d be interested in directing the video. Of course I gleefully and enthusiastically said “yes.”

2. What was your initial idea for this video and did it see through to the finished article?
SB-When I first heard the song, it had a spiritual feeling for me. I felt like it was about needing to connect with something much larger than life. When you experienced so much that the world has to offer, you yearn for a bigger meaning than what you can tangibly feel.

3. Time (Hearts Full Of Love) was shot completely remotely from the band,this time you had full access to Andy on the shoot,how was this experience for you?
SB-I had to shut my brain and heart off. I tried to pretend he was a stranger I never heard of before. His husband Stephen was a real sweet soul who was both the glue and the lubricant between us all. And that’s probably not the best choice of words. Stephen is a wonder of nature.
4 . The fan reaction to the new video has been really positive,how do you feel about having so much love flowing your way (again)?
SB-This is what really hit me in the heart. If I can truly please fellow fans, then it’s so meaningful for me. I know what fans really want and thankfully I’m in a position to deliver that due to my experience and established skills in my industry.
5. How has the video gone down with Andy & his team?
SB-They absolutely loved it. I was beyond happy.
6. Now you’ve got two videos under your belt,could this possibly be an opening for future videos for either Erasure/Andy or even Vince,I feel his debut album ‘Songs Of Silence’ would’ve looked perfect with your black & white cinematic video creations.
SB-I certainly hope so. I always dreamt I’d be their visual go-to guy because I have such a super-focussed connection with their art and heritage since I was a child and feel I authentically understand what they and their music stands for aesthetically. It feels like a connection beyond the physical and emotional. I also feel I could open doors and paths to destinations they and their fans may not have anticipated but really feel they belong at in their journey.
7. Andy has been a part of your life for so long now being half of Erasure,how was it for you finally having one of your idols actually with you and directing them in person?
SB-It was a dream come true. I couldn’t dwell on it or even let it sink in on set. It was a very professional atmosphere but once in a while I found myself letting my wall down and respectfully fanboying out, like telling him my favourite songs of theirs and that his voice is the soundtrack of my life; you know, totally not intense or obsessive chats or anything…
