Saint Etienne Confirm Final Album ‘International’ With collaboration with Vince Clarke

Saint Etienne will release new album ‘International’ on September 5th.
The much-loved group – Sarah Cracknell, Pete Wiggs, Bob Stanley – have spent 35 years together, most recently releasing the near-ambient feast ‘The Night’ last year.
Deciding to call time on their work together, new album ‘International’ is set to be their thirteen, and final, record.
Out on September 5th, guests on the record include Nick Heyward, Janet Planet of Confidence Man, Erol Alkan, Paul Hartnoll of Orbital, and Vince Clarke.

New single ‘Glad’ is out now – co-written and produced with Tom Rowlands of the Chemical Brothers, the guitar part comes from Doves’ very own Jez Williams.

VINCE CLARKE: VINCE HAS CONTRIBUTED TO THE NEW SAINT ETIENNE ALBUM

If you're a fan of the marvellous Saint Etienne then you are probably already aware that they will be releasing their last ever album in September. The album is called 'International' and is released on 13th September. What you might not know however, is that one of the tracks on the album, 'Two Lovers', is co-written with our very own Vince Clarke. 'Two Lovers' is one of two tracks Vince collaborated on with Bob Stanley a while ago, and I will tell you more about the other track as soon as Saint Etienne are ready to announce it. The project is something of a star-studded affair with other collaborators including Tom Rowlands from the Chemical Brothers, Erol Alkan, Orbital's Paul Hartnoll and Xenomania's Tim Powell.
