Thanks to Shelter for info.

Looking good. Hopefully a lot more welcome than that Sometimes Tribute Album from around 1999.

But just a question that I would like to know. Why is there from what is seems is a couple of weeks differential between the MP3 version and streaming services? If they want the most impact surely it would help to release it all at once.

Thanks for the heads up about this! However, I'm scratching my head here.... I checked out their site and unfortunately I don't see any mention of this anywhere! I even searched "erasure" on the site and nothing about this covers album turns up.

Yes I did the same, nothing on there as yet.

I’ve had a skip through the snippets on iTunes & it’s quite refreshing to hear these songs in completely different arrangements & melodies in some cases, they are not just straight covers they all bring something new to the table.

Let’s celebrate 35 years of Erasure

Erasure is an Electro Pop icon and is celebrated with the compilation ‘Love To Cover You’. The tribute is packed with 12 great cover versions from slightly different genres. Since 1985 Andy Bell and Vince Clarke have been enriching the Electro Pop scene with their fanastic songs. To date, they have released 14 studio albums and sold over 25 million records. For this time and the amazing amount of hits and many more releases of remix, concept and live albums, Erasure have more than earned our respect and recognition. Electrozombies and all participants of the compilation say: “We thank you from our hearts and love you. Keep up the good work.”.

Did you ever listen to an EBM version of ‘Love To Hate You’? Can you imagine how ‘Chorus’ sounds with angelic female vocals and heavenly soundscapes? How would a ballad like ‘Hallowed Grounds’ sounds like with a faster danceable beat? All these questions are answered on the tribute compilation ‘Love To Cover You’.

Any idea of the length of delay for streaming services or is it just a case of keep searching daily?

Streaming was always quoted as coming later for some reason.

Probably to encourage people to buy it before it can be listened to for free.

Well I listen to things on Spotify Premium and, it just ticks me off with the "later on" sort of ambiguous wording. If you release it on MP3 and Limited Streaming (as YouTube Music is part of it since its takeover of Google Play Music IMHO) on one date, at least mention when the wider release is mentioned along with it rather than just dropping it at random as it gives me something to look forward to.

Because when this was originally earmarked for the November release, I knew I had a possible say three week wait at least. But with it being just released, who knows.
