Excellent stuff ive now filled in the gaps, thats the full set now, and they are stunning, the difference in these and what they eventually released is unbelievable,the change from Where In The World being a slow ballad to this demo being a mid tempo track.

Yes, the change that some songs had is incredible. Also how some demos have more clarity in sound than the final product.

I love Loveboat and while I would like it to be relaunched at some point with some changes that don't break its spirit but improve the listening experience a bit, I think that will never happen. But I think playing some of those songs live like they did on the last tour with Mad As We Are is the way to put those great songs in the place they deserve.

I was never keen on Catch 22 and was for me one of the weaker tracks on the album, but I love the version here. Wish it had stayed more like this!

A lot of people don't like the production on Loveboat, but I always thought they were going for an acoustic kind of vibe, despite the use of synths. Synths made to sound acoustic sort of thing. Hearing how many earlier versions of tracks appeared to have guitar in them, I still think that's the vibe they were trying to deliver.

I know some artists don't like letting people hear unfinished work, but I think it's amazing to hear these earlier versions compared to the album. I wish they would officially release full album demos like this.

I agree that they were likely going for an acoustic vibe, but I think the main issue some had with production was that the mixing and mastering sounded awful. As others have mentioned, there's more clarity in many of the demos than in the final release.
