1.How did the collaboration with Andy get started?
Around Oct 2012 exchanged tracks with Andy.via email & andy agreed beautiful was what he wanted 2 collab. On initially
2.How quickly did the writing process go with Andy?
Tracks were all ready other than stars & electrostatic and even 4 those 2 tracks we had crude demos which were un-finished but had enuff info 2 develop with andys help. In all 11 songs in 4 and a half days...insane really thinking back!

3.What did you think of Andy's previous solo albums, and did it put a lot of pressure on you to try to keep the quality of iPop.

Never felt we were in the same league as the big players, just stayed true 2 our own sound & hoped that our love 4 erasure & andy crept through in our music
4.Whats the future for the iPop project after Beautiful are there plans for a second single release?
There will a special deluxe cd version of iPop, but dates.& finite info re this will be managed & agreed in association with EIS & Erasure mgmt. 2nd single release, unsure as yet. Once runway is clear at some point in future maybe.

5.We had a lot of extra mixes on the iPop release but only one was an extended version, are there anymore longer mixes nestling in your hard drive?
Yes,yes,and oh yes...watch this space
6.Matt Pop mixes a couple of tracks on iPop,are there original Shelter mixes out there of these tracks?
Any track which has been produced by 'DJ Jekyll' is Rob from shelter, thats us

7.Erasure fans have raved at iPop,how has the response been for you?
Absolutely incredible, more amazing than we could have ever imagined. Erasure fans really seem to have taken shelter / iPop to their hearts. What an honour!
8.You've filmed the video for Beautiful when will we get to see it?
Being worked on as we speak, hopefully not 2 much longer
9.Do you have any other tracks you made with Andy that didn't make the release?
Yes, a few. We reached a point where we were really happy with the tracks we had & needed to bring things 2 a close at that point in order 2 meet the release window, but knowing us, u never know, they may just see the light of day 1 day.
10.Whats the future for Shelter, have you any projects ready to go or are you looking for new singers to work with?
Yes we already have our next few singles lined up as well as our own debut shelter album but always looking 2 collab with people we admire

A big thank you to Mark & Rob aka Shelter for helping to make this second Erasure4rum interview a success.
