A great push for Erasure with this high profile charity single.
HUNDREDS of singers from a popular group are recording a charity single.

Modern choir Funky Voices, based in Colchester, will be covering popular synthpop duo Erasure’s hit Stop to raise money for the BBC’s Children In Need appeal.
Some 250 singers from the group who perform gigs all over Essex and Suffolk will be cramming into the booth at the famous Maida Val Recording Studios in London on November 8.
They will be joined by charity favourite Pudsey bear who will help them record the song.
Erasure frontman Andy Bell has already endorsed the single and a spokesman for Funky Voices said they wanted to do something which would better the five gigs in one day which the group did for Children in Need last year.
“We got in touch with the BBC about releasing a single for the well-love charity and after being granted permission by Erasure’s Andy Bell we decided to perform our version of the upbeat track Stop,” she said.
The song will be available to download on iTunes from November 12 and proceeds will be donated to Children in Need.
Singers will also appear on the BBC’s special appeal show on Friday November 13.
