It looks legit, but without any decent discography info now that Erasure.ru is no more & the official Erasureinfo website still has no details of this release......

The warping in the insert indicates it's thin paper or that moisture intruded if it's actual laminated cardstock. I assume the former.
The basic catalogue number shown is for the UK CD, but that's not definitive, as some legit licensed releases with low QC have just copied over UK art copy without editing too.
That the case has an EMI logo molded in and has an EMI sticker gives it some gravitas but I've seen Russian boots that went pretty far too. This is Thailand though. I'd veer towards legit vs. not, but either way, it might be a worthwhile bootleg acquisition at least (those are sometimes worth collecting too).

Do you not use Discogs, Pughie? It's the best thing we're ever going to have to a comprehensive discography.

I'll leave to Mark to clarify, but I had assumed he doesn't quite trust a platform that, like wikipedia, is so easily edited, and with known actors abusing that for criminal enterprise.
Still, I too use discogs but don't always take what I see at face value.

Erasure.ru when it was online was the best site for collectors, but sadly it’s no longer online. The EIS should be a good source for releases but as yet still not all of the info is available.
I don’t normally use discogs but it does have a vast amount of releases but some are very suspect.

I guess we can thank Dima the Dickhead for that. Generally, it's accurate though and much more comprehensive than even EIS could compile (especially these days). I appreciated Erasure.ru (can't remember admin's name) and Lazlo's work, but there's only so much one person can do compared to fans all over the world. Though it's hard to enforce, when someone submits an item to Discogs, they are supposed to have the item directly in hand - to prevent made up shit like Dima's bootleg promos. Consequently, there are MANY items on Discogs now that should have been present in Lazlo's discography but weren't, usually from more obscure countries like South Africa or whatever. I think Discogs is the best thing to happen to music collecting in ages.

Erasure.ru used Lazlo's format and just continued it, but that site had a few issues outside of the discography that had me keep it at arm's length.
Anyhow, some of Erasure.ru can be viewed via Archive.org if need be.
