I wish one of the reviews would talk about how the remaster sounds. I will wait for it being on Apple Music before I buy, if there is no improvement I will give it a miss.

My copy is on the way so, good or bad, you'll be reading my remaster review soon! I'm hoping for the best, but expecting it to be brickwalled (on CD) like most recent "remasters". However, the recent Yazoo / Three Pieces was mastered properly and sounds great, so stay positive!

"A tad on the short side"

That's an understatement regarding the copy I first got on cassette!

I remember being sat on the 30 minute bus journey home just pouring over the sleeve and notes and song titles. The cassette itself was clear plastic, and what I noticed was a distinct lack of that familiar brown of the magnetic tape. Maybe this is some new technology I wondered, knowing in my heart of hearts that it wasn't.

Sure enough, I got home, put it in my midi system cassette player, pressed play and - after a few seconds of silence - it reached the end and stopped. It was just header with no magnetic tape.

Very short indeed.

I made the 1 hour round trip to town again and got it exchanged of course!
