VINCE CLARKE: INTRODUCING 'THE INTERESTING WORLD OF GÜNTER FINN' A SERIES OF SHORT (AND STUPID*) ANIMATIONS

Obviously Vince's focus this year has been on his family, however he has nevertheless been able to make a bit of time to scratch his creative itch and, in a change from the usual programme, Vince has been indulging his passion for animation by learning how to make his own cartoons. 'The Interesting World of Günter Finn', a series of ten very short (and stupid*) animations, is the result. Today it gives me great pleasure to be able to introduce you to the first Vince Clarke cartoon, 'The Interesting World of Günter Finn - Episode 1', and the plan is to reveal a new animation every day for the next ten days until the entire series is online via YouTube, Vimeo and TikTok for your delectation and enjoyment. Happy viewing...

OMG so funny!!!!

And it looks like Vince rides in and out on the swan from the beginning of Phantasmagorical Entertainment!!

All ten episodes are now available to view above.

The intro/theme music would be fun to use on tour before V & A appear on stage!

Including a Gunter voiceover “tonight I’m mostly playing synths”
At the end after the encore “oh bollocks”

VINCE CLARKE: GET YOUR VERY OWN GÜNTER FINN 'OH BOLLOCKS!' T-SHIRT

You may remember that in December I shared 'The Interesting World of Günter Finn', a series of "short (and stupid!) animations" (Vince's words, not mine!) that Vince had made and uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo and TikTok, and now I am delighted to announce that the star of the series, Günter Finn himself, is the subject of two limited-edition t-shirts which Vince has masterminded just for the fun of it! Featuring an image of Günter alongside his catchphrase 'Oh Bollocks!' the t-shirt is available in two variations: there's a black t-shirt with grey print and there's a grey t-shirt with black print, and there's also a special money-saving bundle for anyone who wants one of each. Anyway, both shirts are exclusively available from Lexer Music and are only available to order until midnight (UK) on Friday 17th March 2023 at which point the shirts will be manufactured to order and will be printed ready to be shipped on or around Friday 24th March 2023.
