As I stated on the UEC Facebook page…

I enjoy Classic Pop magazine immensely, but they write very strange reviews of Erasure albums, especially the reissues. The self-titled album charted poorly because it was paying for the sins of ISISIS?? What bullsh*t!! And Grace is a beautiful track, and not just in isolation. Ugh!!

Yea, how ridiculous! The author is right about one thing: “ensure the hardcore fans fork out.” That’s about right!

I love Erasure and always will. I believe it to be their best album as a whole, though my “favorite” album changes from time to time. There are changes and additions I would certainly love to make with this reissue, but I’m happy we at least get this 2CD set. I’m looking forward to it!
