Black Nail Cabaret delivers the final preview of SoftWave's upcoming remix album
Ahead of the release of things we've remixed, Danish synthpop duo SoftWave presents “Through Open
Eyes (Black Nail Cabaret Remix)”, out 16 October 2026.
Hungarian dark electronic duo Black Nail Cabaret brings its distinctive sound to the track, transforming the
melodic synthpop of the original with darker textures, deep bass and an atmospheric, cinematic
production.
The collaboration grew from a personal connection between the two bands after meeting following Black
Nail Cabaret's concert in Denmark. A mutual appreciation of each other's music soon developed into the
idea of working together, making Black Nail Cabaret a natural choice when SoftWave began assembling an
international cast of artists to reinterpret songs from their catalogue.
“Through Open Eyes (Black Nail Cabaret Remix)” is the third and final single leading
into things we've remixed, a nine-track remix album bringing together artists from six
countries and reflecting more than a decade of musical connections around SoftWave.
