After the Uk tour they go to the US & Canada, and after that they are probably going to do the rest of Europe, so perhaps that is when this EP is getting released? Perhaps we get the Alternative Neon album and the EP is the lead single?
I guess the 'two spare tracks' Andy recently mentioned could be making up the EP.
Still very confusing times as we know the boys haven't had chance to write together nor has Andy mentioned recording anything new beyond Neon-projects. You could be right, Rod.

The songs were already written over a year ago as part of the Neon sessions.
They told us back then that they had written a total of SIXTEEN tracks for the Neon album, so they had SIX left over. One of those was 'Secrets', the single released last May. So that leaves five more, of which I guess at least four of them will form the upcoming EP. Although I'm not sure if they've stated how many tracks the EP will have, so it could feasibly have all five on it!
From what VInce has said, it sounds like the 'alternative Neon' is a much more avant-garde 'remix' album which he's done mostly by himself in his own studio, but what HAS also been mentioned is that Andy did some additional recording with Gareth Jones for a couple of the tracks.

So, what does everyone think? Good to have some new tracks, but nothing really there that stands out hugely for me. Sound a bit like album off-cuts after all

I love it. It sounds like classic erasure! I can't get Leaving out of my head.

Surprised the CD isn't available on Amazon. They're not the best songs, they do feel like they would have been b sides in another era
