Reading between the lines, I kind of get the feeling that the fact we are being asked is Richard's way of saying there really isn't anything special or any surprises that can be packaged with this. He's basically saying "which of the existing b-sides and remixes do you want?" :p

I suspect the tracklisting by @mrblue on the previous page is pretty close to what we'll get - although there WAS an acoustic session version of Stay With Me broadcast on BBC radio at the time (along with a DIFFERENT acoustic version of Always to the one we've had already), so hopefully we'll get that (or them!).

The only other thing I can think of is more live recordings from the show the acoustic version of Sono Luminus is from.

I suspect at best we'd get it on DVD, but I would place it more as something to go with Cowboy than with the Erasure album. Unless this is the LAST of the digital remasters (and there may be reasons to think it could be - I suspect everything AFTER Erasure is already digitally mastered) - in which case absolutely put the DVD with this album!

There was also a small promo performance in NYC at the time, I believe at a high end lounge called Spy. I think a couple of the songs were recorded for the EPK or some interview associated with the album release. Maybe those can be on an additional disc. 😎

Yea, my expectations are low… but if I keep them low then maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised! I agree that Tiny Tour on DVD or Blu-ray and an Atmos mix would be devine.

The previous album reissues each had a few new mixes, and I hope that will be the case again with Erasure. I think it would be great to get at least one new mix of a previously un-remixed song, like Vince did with TTLTA on Chorus. The bonus disc will likely be a few new mixes smooshed between the b-sides and mixes we already have.

I do feel these remasters have been a bit all over the place. There seems to have been no clear concept about what to include on the bonus discs, or whether tracks should be added to the end of the original CD. I Say I Say I Say seemed good to me because it bulked out the original CD and the bonus disc gave us a selection of hard to find tracks, whereas others have felt like wasted opportunities containing readily available content.
It's a moot point with the Erasure remaster as there's no room for extra tracks on the original CD, but they should include as many rarer tracks as they can find.

Maybe wishful thinking but I'm kind of hoping for Cowboy (if they do it) they try to give us something from the Cowboy Concerts. If they 100% cannot fix the recording of the gig they made to bring it up to scratch for sale then maybe a soundboard CD? or perhaps they could acquire the rights to a gig recorded for TV? for example, the one they did for Much Music in Argentina? Like they did with the Sweden gig on Wonderland's remaster.

I feel like the Tiny Tour fits Erasure more anyway.

I’m excited for an official mix of Angel. Let’s hope it doesn’t suck.

There were some acoustic radio sessions from around the time of this album, including one of Stay With Me, which haven't showed up here, which is a shame.

Personally I would have liked to have seen a new mix of Rescue Me and/or Sono Luminous rather than two more remixes of Rock Me Gently I think (or as well as!). Still looking forward to hearing them though, and it's nice to get a few new mixes.

Note: If I'm not mistaken, I think this is the first time the SoundFactory radio edit of Fingers & Thumbs is available on CD.
