I totally agree, I assume this is done by the main record label? I am not sure why they don't do an actual remaster?
The Innocents remaster sounded good, I am not an audiophile though. Chorus was very flat, almost no difference with the original. I totally understand that there are a lot of costs involve when doing this, but we, the fans, support the band no matter what, so it would be nice to see a bit more effort in these releases.

I think the reason that "The Innocents" 2009 plus "Wonderland" and "The Circus" 2011 remasters worked was because they (EMI) used Simon Heyworth who did the Depeche Mode remasters series.
I haven't since got yet the "Wild!" and "Chorus" reissues because the tracklist seems somewhat lacklustre compared to what was done. But if anyone can fill me in, who did the remasters for those two.

new unreleased remixes. No doubt both will end up on YouTube well before the CD is dispatched.
We're half way there already!

Isn’t the full version of Always (X-Dub Cut) also previously unreleased, officially? Us fans have traded it for years (as X-Dub Full), but I don’t recall it ever getting an official release.
Also, where did Always (Cappella Club Mix Edit) originally appear?
@AaronLancs I’m not sure who did the Wild! and Chorus remasters offhand but can check my copies this weekend. I noticed that the way the newsletter is worded that seemingly only the 10 I Say album tracks are remastered. It looks like the b-sides on CD1 and all of CD2 are original masters.

Oh that looks very nice!! I love seeing those photos again. I remember a Smash Hit double spread? with the lyrics from Always, and one of the images from this shoot as the background.

It's a shame a miniature version of the pop-up castle isn't part of the package.
