I've found my US Sire pressing to have the best sound out of the the three Circus vinyl copies I own, the others being:

- BMG reissue (purchased new)
- German DMM pressing (purchased used)

Has anyone compared the US Sire pressing and the original Mute UK pressing for audio quality (primarily dynamic range).

No but I have those three copies and will do a comparison and see if indeed the Sire one has the best sound dynamics. As for cover art reproduction- nope

Can someone confirm the duration of "Dont Dance" in the Sire version? In the UK version it is 5:40 but in the US version on the disc label it says 3:51. I'm not sure if it's a mistake or if the US version is really shorter.

Thanks!

That's correct. Warner Bros. reports the US version track length as 3:36 in internal records (They hold the Sire masters). Additionally, a track notation attached to it states:

RECORDED 9/86 TO 11/86
