My wife has been watching a show in Netflix called "Once Upon a Time."  It involves characters from various fairy tales (Snow White, Rumpelstiltskin, etc) and airs/aired on ABC which is owned by Disney (so lots of loose Disney character references).

She just finished Season 5 and though I don't know the exact episodes, there has been a very strong runing theme involving Only You.  I haven't been following the show so I can't give specific details, but there is a scene where they are looking for a little boy and they see a place called Eric's.  "He must be upstairs."  They rush into Eric's, go upstairs and find the Yazoo album sitting there.  Though the name is never specifically spoken, the main character picks up the album and looks it over.  Talk about product placement!!  Obviously someone on that show loves Yazoo!

I was hoping to find a video clip to post here, but I can't.  All I know for sure is that happens towards the end of Season 5, likely the last 5 episodes.

All I can find online is this blog that a fan of the show wrote.

Love that!

Let's also not forget how extensively Yazoo music was used in an episode of the amazing series "The Americans" a couple of seasons ago!

Not really a fan of Once Upon A Time, but glad someone involved is a fan. We need some Vince in Stranger Things, now.

I can't claim to be fan either, but my wife likes it.  She binge-watched on Netflix so I guess she liked it!  I made her find the scene and took some screenshots to post.  The episode is titled "Only You"!  Isn't that great =D

Only You is the young couple's "song" so though it's a theme throughout Season 5, Upstairs at Eric's becomes a major plot event in Episode 22.

That's great MikeyC!  Love it.  She's a cutie and with great taste in music too!

So that's 2 shows (at least) that feature Only You prominently.  I remember someone asking Vince what his perfect song is, and he replied Only You.

I'd have to agree

I'm almost sure Rodney Trotter in Only Fools & Horses had a Yazoo album complete with an old Record & Tape Exchange price sticker on it. I may have to watch the first 3 series' and find that. I may be wrong but I do know for sure that I saw the Mute symbol...
