Excuse my potential ignorance or naiivety, (and you may even delete this) but when looking on YT for videos, and these come up, what's the idea?
Nobody is this silly, surely.

Check this out...

"Anyone else off to see Robbie? You are in for a treat!! Beautifully staged, great lighting, a terrific stadium for a gig, loads of faves, great new stuff, powerful and at times emotional, it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to at St Mary's Southampton last night. It was a proper "show", with a cracking band, fab backing singers and dancers, cool graphics and lighting. Erasure opened up, cranking up all the classics to sing along too, and I've never seen a crowd give a first act so much support, says a lot that the sodium was almost full for them."

Excellent, and I doubt that'll be the last of such reviews.

I'm wondering about the Russian and Italian crowds though...

Funny how the band it's getting the largest crowds in their career after 30 years and not at the beginning in the 80's when they were more popular.

^I'm wondering that myself

Example, Aylesbury is 1200 capacity, which I was surprised about.

Medium venues, 3-5000

I know andy and Vince prefer to play the small venues but what I've been reading is some die hards have missed out because the venues have sold out so quick

What was the biggest Uk venue on the Violet Flame tour?

Brighton Centre? I believe so because there was a last minute technical hitch at the Dome. The live reviews said the sound was awful. But I still think they're suited to the smaller places. But judging by the latest date schedule they can't just add extra nights as they please.

Glad they're playing the Hammersmith Apollo this time.

i guess it was Brighton Centre as well. Sound was fine to me. The venue was sparsely populated as the Dome is a few thousand less. They played Brighton Centre during Wild tour and was rammed

Interesting - did Erasure drop Love You To The Sky for the Southampton Robbie concert? Appears to have just been the hits!

they were playing to big crowds at Carfest, The Forest gigs to name a few more recently. Those were 20,000 plus. Cowboy tour was the last to play to any substantially bigger audiences than the last 20yrs in general on tours.

question is, would they sell out 2 or 3 dates in big locations spread over UK or do people gravitate to see them as they play near, often and locally in the smaller venues
