Age of Consent is still a fabulous album to me. I just played my vinyl today because of this thread. jimmy had a rather unusual high vocal range and very distinct. I could spot it anywhere.

Here is a recent pop in he did with a street performer

This is one of my favorite duets he did with Marc Almond

I wish the did a reunion too

I'd rather say that Jimmy has aged better than Andy. But 20 years ago, Andy was the winner.

Plus, ERASURE has produced a much more consistent discography (both in terms of quantity and quality) than Jimmy did in his whole carreer.

I think Jimmy is now a Priest so has really put aside the musical career, but with Andy music has always been top priority

Jimmy -arguably- can have a better falsete but the Andy's vocal range is extremely superior to the Jimmy's.

Well this is about a reunion we hope can happen one day, not an Andy vs Jimmy vocal competition. Each has it's own merit

Quite a few years ago I was at the gay rollerskating night at the famous Roxy here in NYC. All of a sudden I see who I'm 100% sure is Jimmy, so I caught up to him and asked, "Are you Jimmy Somerville?" and he replied in the strongest British accent I've ever heard: "COULD BE!!"

Andy can't hit the high notes so well as he did  maybe 20 or 25 years ago, but he still has a wonderful low voice...

Thanks for the info! Where does the relatively new track, "Set Alight", fall into all this? It has the same "JS" logo as the above new compilation.
