This is too good not to post up,it’s an un-official remix video for the Turns The Love To Anger (Vince Clarke Remix) by the Vince Clarke Fan Page.

Bruno has a knack for this stuff.

Sometimes, if it's possible to keep the adhesive on the sticker and not the wrapper, I might peel it off the plastic and transfer it to waxed sticker backing in an attempt to retain it as if never applied. That's rarely possible, though.
Except here. Yep, peeled off smooth as buttah. Like buttah, I say.

It's now on its own backing and inserted inside the book for future use in whatever wish I'd like; even back on the plastic if I want. :whip:

I love the new AmI Right?, Home and Turns The Love To Anger mixes. The Love To Hate You one just reminds me of the fact that there was never a really great remix of that fantastic song. The Live disc is nice, but again it is not really perfect. Perhaps they changed the sound of the songs during the tour or the recording is not that great. I have seen a few of those shows in Germany and there was loads more bass, and lots of little sounds that don't stand out in this recording. It always bothered me. I used to have a bootleg tape (on two tapes actually) of one of the Hannover shows, I played that a million times but never made it digital, many years later and I have no idea what happened to those tapes, but I clearly remember me driving home after work in the very early hours listening to them. The actual recording was a bit amateur, but it had all the bass and those little bleeps that made that tour so very special. The booklet is very nice, Vince mentioning Dee-Lite's What IsLove is an eye opener. I listened to it the first time today, Vince has used that song for inspiration many times I would say

Erasure – Chorus : References & Influences

To accompany the release of a deluxe reissue of Erasure’s 1991 monophonic analogue opus Chorus, I put together a series of additional short written pieces focussed on the album’s four distinctive single videos, along with Andy and Vince’s recollections of The Phantasmagorical Entertainment tour that followed in 1992.

For this final piece, we delve into the myriad influences and reference points that cropped up during the interviews I undertook to prepare the reissue’s liner notes.

Mat Smith.
