Good news for HMV, but it just simply boggles my mind that the new owners plan to stock more vinyl. No I take that back - it boggles my mind that people will pay for, and gladly overpay for, vinyl in 2019.

If they started carrying some graded used vinyl like some big stores (Rough Trade, Amoeba, etc), then they could be lauded, but unless they do that or go deep with indies, I doubt their vinyl trend will last. Standard Rhino-esque mass-market vinyl reissues cannot sustain a market by itself.
